Every great story has an origin, and ours started the same way many of yours probably did: with a shared love of books and a habit we couldn’t turn off. We’ve been best friends for years, bonded by late-night reading sessions, voice notes about plot twists, and texts that started with, “Wait… did you catch that?” Somewhere along the way, we realized we weren’t just reading for enjoyment—we were instinctively editing. We noticed inconsistencies, awkward phrasing, pacing issues, and those tiny details that can quietly pull a reader out of an otherwise incredible story. At first, it was just something we did for fun. But the more we read, the more we realized how valuable that perspective could be—not just as readers, but as editors.
